RWYB 2006 Winners Below are The Fast Show 2006 Class winners. For a list of the RWYB times from The Fast Show 2006 view RWYB Times. RWYB class winners: Class A - Front Wheel Drive
Class A attracted the most entrants of any class, but Paul Bargate was comfortably ahead with his stripped-out but fairly stock-looking Scirrocco. Paul has taken trophies home from Santa Pod before, and has mastered the art of getting the most from a normally aspirated engine. Class B - Front Wheel Drive with Turbo/Nitrous/Supercharger
Class B was tough class with loads of entries, and just microseconds separating James from his nearest rival, a fearsome sleeper Vauxhall Corsa. James has also won trophies at Santa Pod before, but his lead is rapidly diminishing. Class C - Rear Wheel Drive
Class C was busy with entries but nothing could touch James' featherweight Ariel Atom. Class D - 4 Wheel Drive Class D was packed with entries from the usual suspects- Skylines, Evos and Scoobies, but it was Ben who topped the class with his R33 Class E - Muscle Car (8 or more cylinders)
Class E had only a few entries, but what quality!? Nick George has managed to get his beautiful 70's Chevy deep into the 10's to take the trophy. Class X - Non Road Legal, inc all cars on slicks
Class X was set up to run demo vehicles and people wanting to test on slicks, and the quality and quantityof entries were very high. National drag racer Vic Amato took his Mustang to a well-earned victory. |
